The year isn’t a month old but from the looks of it, it is going to be a year filled with something, something a lot of people have been talking about, something people have pondered on for so long and still have no answers for. Yes it is LOVE. Don’t worry, I’m not here to tell you that I have found a definition for what it really is because I don’t but I know that it is one of the most beautiful things in life and if you all know this, you would know that the best and beautiful things of the world can’t be seen or touched, it can only be felt by the heart.
Not being able to sleep, I decided to put together this note which talks about Love…I’m no shrink but I hope these words of mine and a few famous people makes you smile and see how bright tomorrow can be if you put your mind to it.

Just like some say about money, they say love also makes the world go round but it doesn’t, it is actually what makes that ride of love worthwhile. The first mistake people often make when they fall in love or think they are in love is not being friends with their partners for any love which has no friendship as its base is like a mansion built on sand.
We as humans (not just the ladies now….ok guys ) always sit and complain about how we haven’t found the right one for us and by saying that, we become choosy with any guy that steps up to us or any girl who tries to make you see things the right way and for who she really is. Ladies then end up looking for that tall dark hunk with pink lips, well built, firm butt (oh come on ladies, you know you love to feel some form of meat on your man’s ass….I know I do *wink*...loll) and also with a full pocket. Guys never pay attention to the one with the right words in her mouth cos they know she aint lying but would rather follow the ones who lie,nag insanely and are clearly with them for what they have instead of who they really are. But do you know why I Love men? They always and somehow end up doing the right thing (not all though), they go back to the non nagging, down to earth lady that they pretended not to care about. That is why I say; when Love has gone round one circle, at the end of the day we always return to those who were there from the beginning, but bear in mind that that one person will not wait forever.
Love is such a beautiful thing, in the words of Pablo Picasso, ‘Love is the greatest refreshment in life’, but having your heart broken is one of the worst things that could ever happen to any human. You realize that Love is when someone takes your heart and shatters it but you still love them with the little pieces. ‘It takes a minute to have a crush on someone, an hour to like someone and a day to Love someone. But it takes a lifetime to forget them.’ The pleasure of Love lasts for a moment but the pain lasts a life time. A lot of people, after having their hearts broken become very scared and want nothing to do with it but as it is written in the Bible, ‘There is no fear in Love, but perfect Love casteth out fear’ 1 John 4:18, so always bare in mind that there is someone out there for you, some one God has said you will end up with and live a happy life filled with joy and Love.
Love on its own is ‘bestowed as a gift-freely, willingly and without expectation. We don’t love to be loved, we love to love’, so lets learn not to worry about love but instead we should honor its coming with all our hearts. Learn to smile more often and not frown because you do not know who is falling in love with that smile :-).
I’ll bring this to an end by letting you know once again that Love is indeed beautiful and not a curse. If you’re in love with someone but all you seem to be getting back is pain and heartache, try not to fuss or nag too much but instead ask that person ‘if you love me let me know if not, please gently let me go’. In the words of my best friend Grace Harding, ‘Love is not a disease, so do not make yourself believe it is and in the process eat your heart out with lots of thinking.
Above all learn to turn to God in your time of need, no matter what it is and learn to be patient for he sees all, he knows all and will always be there.

Our Deepest Fears
'Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. We ask ourselves ‘who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous'? Actually, who are you not to be? We are born to make manifest the Glory of God that is within us. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others'.

God made each and everyone of us in his own unique way, we are all special and that is why we differ from each other. He created each being with a unique feature(some might call it talent). For one to be successful in life, for one to learn and know what that feature is, we need to first learn to be ourselves and find out who we really are......to find out what it is that makes us special.
Everyone has something which differentiates them from others, but at the same time we must bare in mind that being different does not mean we are superior to others, we should learn to remain humble.
We worry so much about what people think or say about us and in the process we bring ourselves down to make others comfortable around us so that we can get their acceptance. The more we beat ourselves down, the more inadequate we feel and on that note, we remain on a dissatisfying level.We become the light of the world in our own special way when we become the best we set out to be and the best we can be. We have the right to be ourselves and no matter what the problem might be, we can shine when we are ourselves, just as God wants us to be. By doing this, we unconsciously reach out to others and touch them in a positive way (no matter how little). 'Every positive impact helps all to shine to the fullest'.
The only person that can bring you down is you,so do not beat yourself down in whatever it is you do, want or believe in. The way you carry yourself in the presence of others is how they shall see and respect you.
